HELLO everyone, I’m glad to see you here today. My name is Linda Frame. I’m here today with your: “Daily Adversity Support” ……
Authors Note: For my background information, please visit my Profiles on Facebook and Linkedin.
I write this everyday for you only because I know what you’re going through. I’ve been there, I’ve had the life changing events that knocked me to the bottom.
I want to share with you How I got myself back up & became a better person, even more successful as a person & financially than ever.
If a particular topic of the day here doesn’t suit you, or doesn’t “speak to you”, that’s fine maybe tomorrows message will, or send me an email about the topic YOU would like help on and want to hear about. Just remember, I speak only from my heart through whom I have become as a person today, from all of the adversities I have faced.
Here we go with today’s thoughts about adversities, some call challenges, hurdles, road blocks, bumps in the road. What ever fits your case today, lets talk about it & let me know what you want to hear.
I listen a lot, I hear what people say, how they’re saying it and how they’re trying to get their point across.
By listening to others talk, I’ve also learned a lot about them. Of course, this is what we’re suppose to do isn’t it, listen to others. Well, maybe not this way.
When I listen, I have what may be a bad habit and for that I apologize, but I’m really listening to their hidden message that were not put into words. Okay, now you’re lost, don’t be, read on.
I’m going to give you a few things I picked up just by having a conversation and listening with some folks I hadn’t seen in a while, actually before my accident.
While they were talking to me, and honestly, I really did listen to what was being said, but here is what I picked up while listening to people who came to ‘catch up’ on what I’ve been missing.
First, I’m just going to call these DESTRUCTIVE MISTAKES while sharing information / conversation with someone:
Refusing to set aside your own trivial preferences.
Insisting that something is “impossible”, just because you can’t accomplish it yourself.
The delusion that personal gain is made by crushing and destroying others.
The tendency to worry about things that can’t be changed or corrected.
Neglecting self development and refinement of the mind, and not acquiring the habit of reading to learn new things.
Attempting to compel others to believe and live only as you do.
Now maybe I’m overly critical about how someone comes across, but these messages I’ve listed above are a sign of “lack of personal growth”.
I’m sharing this with you today because I want you to see these, listen to yourself and honestly evaluate if you have any of these tendencies when you are trying to get your own point across in a conversation.
If you have been guilty of any of these, that’s okay, but promise me you’ll stop it and find a way to resolve that point.
DON’T PUT UP A WALL TO CHANGE. You need to be open about new ways, new information, new growth for yourself.
Be aware of areas that you lack in and need ‘personal growth’, find a way to overcome your personal weaknesses, and THINK before you insist on getting your own point across.
Enjoy your conversations, but just be aware of how it may come across without your knowing it. Be open to always learning new things.
“Channel your personal thoughts and energy, to things you can influence & control”…………..
See you tomorrow.

ha ha oh how I resonated with this post.. I have listened to a lot of Anthony Robbins, who says how we have to agree with people.. I went through a stage where I thought I could always solve other people’s problems by telling them what they should be doing rather than listening and agreeing with them 🙂 I probably have a bit of both now Linda 🙂
Good for you Helen, you have a lot of insight and Tony Robbins is the best in this area of personal growth.
