“I JUST WANT TO ENJOY LIFE!”
There is so much around each one of us that we never see everyday.
Sounds, sights, smells, tastes, & unexpected finds.
Maybe I notice it so much more now.
My accident last year & the year of recovery, has given me an entirely new look a life itself.
I want to share some of the discoveries that many take for granted, & many more are never aware of.
****************************************************
Here are some unexpected joys:
The appreciation of life.
The beauty of nature.
The surprise of a gift.
The miracle of a newborn.
The joy of discovery.
The deliciousness of food.
The passion of love.
The awesomeness of God.
The thrill of accomplishment.
The power of music.
***************************************************************
Life, is not about time clocks, schedules, deadlines, bills, obligations.
Life is about you, your living breathing body & soul.
Life is about being content, at peace, tasting, smelling, seeing, & hearing the beauty of everything around you.
My question to you is: When are you going to discover it for yourself?

Your lists ALWAYS make me stop and think Linda. I look forward to finding your blogs. 🙂
Thank you Shaun I appreciate that. I like lists because you can pick out what suits you & go with it. I look forward to you insights.
Linda yes there is always something to enjoy each day. Sometimes a BIG thing but most often the small things, like the curious look my dog gives me or when the sun shines through those clouds … so many things 🙂
Jeanne thank you. You’re so right, it’s the unexpected all around you that can many time move you more than the big stuff. Dogs have such a keen sense of nature & appreciate it so.
That’s a great list to focus on to help enjoy your life. And there’s not one thing on there that you need money for. 🙂
Thank you Beth, you got my point didn’t you. Money is not always the answer to enjoying your own life. Thanks for your insight.
You’ve been through a tremendous amount of challenges which can make a person bitter or appreciative. In your case, the latter is true — joyful and appreciative with a lot to share with others. Abraham Hicks always says they like it when a people have had trauma because they are less resistant to making positive changes in their lives. Thanks for the reminder of the beautiful things in life, Linda.
Oh thank you Carol & yes I have been through a great deal in my life. However, those adversities & challenges are what gave me strength & shaped me into the person I am today. Abraham Hicks is spot on with his thoughts of ‘people who’ve had trauma’s are less resistant to making positive changes.’ Working with patients who’ve been through so much, I remind them of those very thoughts & you know, they finally ‘get it’!
Linda, you are so right!! If we take the time, stop and think we realize there is so much to enjoy right around us. Loved your list!!
