“I JUST WANT THE BEST FOR MYSELF & MY FAMILY!”
Now that is an ambitious goal in life that most people look for to reach.
If you are one who is also looking for the best for you & your family, what comes to mind for you?
Beautiful home, nice cars, lots of toys for the kids (if you have any), college educations, family vacations, great paying jobs?
Hmm, what if I told you that you’re way off base here.
Here are some thoughts for you to re-think about when it comes to having the BEST & the greatest things in life.
***************************************************************************
Here’s where to find the BEST things for you & your family:
The most expensive indulgence – hate.
The best work – work you like.
The most agreeable companion – the one who would not have you any different that you are.
The most ridiculous asset – pride.
The cheapest, easiest & most stupid thing to do – finding fault.
The meanest feeling – being envious of another’s success.
The best day – today.
The most disagreeable person – the complainer.
The greatest thought – God.
The worst bankruptcy – the soul who has lost enthusiasm.
The greatest puzzle – life.
The greatest thing in the world – love for family, home, friends, neighbors.
The greatest mystery – death.
The greatest deceiver – the one who deceives himself.
The greatest need – common sense.
The best teacher – the one who makes you want to learn.
The greatest comfort – the knowledge that you have done your work well.
***************************************************************************
These are what make the BEST things in life!
These are within YOU, they cost nothing but your changing your thoughts & belief in yourself.
If you truly want the BEST for you & your family, then you only to change YOU!
So, as they say, “Build a bridge, & get over yourself!”
***********************************************
“I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions”…

WOW!!! Your posts always make me think Linda 😉
“The worst bankruptcy – the soul who has lost enthusiasm.”
How true that is!
Never expected those answers, Linda. Very profound and interesting. The one that strikes me most potently is the first — couldn’t agree more that hate is the most expensive!
This is awesome Linda:) “Build a bridge, & get over yourself!” Love that quote, it really puts it all into perspective! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome all around Linda. Thank you again for your wonderful posts.
