“I JUST CAN’T GET ANYTHING DONE!”
Okay, does anyone see something wrong with this statement?
Sure you do, in fact shut your eyes & make that statement loudly.
Those 6 words sound stressed don’t they.
I bet most of us have used this phrase a time or two haven’t we? Okay, more than that…
BALANCE
You know what Balance means: to equalize.
Another way to look a Balance is: to bring into proportion or harmony.
Let’s look at Balance in a more personal way:

How to balance & calm in your schedule & your life
Pay attention to yourself.
If you don’t stay healthy, you’ll be less able to handle the stress of work & home.
Simplify.
If you need time for housecleaning, consider hiring a cleaning person once a week or once a month. If you feel like you don’t have time for yourself or family, say no to things you don’t want to do or have time to do.
Stop Procrastinating.
It takes more energy fretting over not doing a project than actually doing it. So save your energy for better things & just get started.
Be Grateful.
Even in the midst of the most hectic & stressful times of life, there are thing we can be thankful for. Reflecting on the good things in our lives helps keep an all important balance in our outlook.
Be a kid & play.
Go on, get down in the dirt & play with the dog, the kids, your friends/spouse/partner! Watch a movie with popcorn, have a long talk over coffee with your best friend. Give your family 1:1 time. Take your dog for a walk on a regular basis.

Balance can be found in so many ways, but the key is to find that harmony in your life, that gives you peace.
Without Balance, you have nothing but stress & chaos.
