“PLEASE, Tell Me The Truth!” | How to develop the truthful habit.

“PLEASE, TELL ME THE TRUTH!”

Anyone who knows me well, knows I do not tolerate dishonesty at all.

Being dishonest to someone shows your true self; your morals, your spirit, your heart & lack of respect.

Personally, I won’t waste another ounce of energy on someone like that & if you think I don’t know, you’re very wrong.

Giving someone your word is an honesty promise that should be kept regardless of your status.

Honesty is learned as a child, how they’re raised, taught, groomed & develop that habit.

Is it too late for someone who’s already an adult?  It depends on the adult.

If someone truly wants to change their ways & habits at all costs, then yes you can change any of your habits.

But to change habits it has to come from within.

If you really want to be a better person in life, you must start with your honesty habits. & STOP being dishonest!!

Honesty says everything about you; who you are, what you are, how you are & it’s a window into your soul.

Your body has tell tale signs for dishonesty, yes it does & it starts with your eyes.

Be a good person & you will have friends for life.

  1. good points made here – it’s so important to tell the truth – because if you’re not talking truth to others you are not talking truth to yourself. And I like your all C’s explanation of how to develop the habit of being truthful. Thanks Linda!

Thank you Nancy, I’m all about the truth & honesty means everything to me. I feel so bad for others who feel it’s politically correct to alter the truth. It’s never ok as far as I’m concerned, it will destroy your energy & your character at the same time.

  2. There is one I like that didn’t make your list…. and this kind of covers them all really…. ‘Speak the truth, even if it leads to your death.’

I caught my son telling a lie today to cover an embarrassing situation, so we talked about it. Just a little while later he asked me if it is okay for grown ups to tell lies? I assured him that it is NOT okay for anybody to tell lies.

Thank you Shaun, you are correct, it’s not okay for anyone to lie anytime. The truth with always pay dividends in the long run.
