“OH MY GOSH, CAN ANYTHING ELSE GO WRONG TODAY!”
Sound familiar to you, maybe today is the day where nothing is going right.
When these days hit, it feels like it’s an endless flow of mistakes.
Some have used the phrase: “everything I touch turns to s$it”…
Yes these are real days & for many happen too often.
The key however, is how you handle these bad days.
You have to jump into control when it happens very quickly before it continues any further.
Do you know how?
Well, I’m going to give you a few thoughts to work with & just maybe help you get through that bad day when it happens.

How to get through a really BAD day
Count to ten before you respond to anyone.
On a bad day, your reactions tend to be way off, & you could easily say something hurtful.
Just remind yourself that regardless of what happens on this day, 24 hours from now it will be a new day.
Pay extra attention to caring for yourself on these bad days when things are going wrong.
Try to take a long walk, eat more nutritious foods, listen to soft music, & be sure to take your vitamins.
Turn to someone you trust & who cares. To get support & prayers from someone who knows what you’re going though, can make all the difference for you. Never be too proud to ask for help if you need it.
Honestly ask yourself, ‘does God have something for me to learn on this awful, lousy, miserable, rotten bad day?’
Remember, when things aren’t going the way YOU want them to go, there may be a reason & something for you to learn.

The absolute best thing to do for most people, is to just walk away for a while.
Go to the store, go out to lunch, even clean the house!
Distracting activities help to throw your thoughts & focus on something else for a while.
When you come back, just be still, let your thoughts come back naturally without be forced or stressed.
Many times, bad days are just a result of trying too hard to force something too hard.
When you’re stressed in any way, instead of letting the natural flow of thoughts & muscle memory take over, you’re shutting them off & trying to squeeze them out.
Remember, your brain is like a sponge & if you squeeze that sponge too hard, nothing is going in & nothing is going to come out.
