Did You Know It’s Easier to Succeed Than to Fail?

To succeed at something can be so easy compared to failing at something, don’t you agree?

Hmm, split answers I see.  Why?

‘Experience, tried that, couldn’t do this, not always works that way’……  But why not, why wouldn’t it be easier to just learned & master something than to keep failing & losing nothing, & not having to do all that work.

Some valid points, but I really believe it’s so much easier to succeed than it is to fail & I’ll tell you why.

Failing at something, has more to do with limitations you’ve put on yourself.  You’ve come up short & didn’t get it more likely because you gave up.

Whoa, that hit a small nerve with some of you because I can already hear:  “There are some things that are over my head & too much for me”………

No, not really…keep reading.

Some of  you heard this growing up from one or both of your parents or a teacher: “There is nothing you cannot do”, that’s right nothing.

So, regardless of your age or abilities, I’m telling you again, there is nothing you cannot do, nothing, IF you put your mind to it.

If you make a half invested attempt to try something you haven’t done before, you’ll never do, you won’t finish & you’ll fail.  WHY?

You failed because you put your physical body into the motions, but you left out the mind part, & just went through the steps.

When you do something with the determination in your mind that you ARE going to get this, you ARE going to learn this, that you ARE going to learn or do something new, you will because you’ve already ‘programmed’ yourself you’re going to do this.

OK, doubters are saying, “yea, but if something is too hard, heavy, complicated or not for me”…..

THAT is a decision you’ve made & put in your mind, that you can’t do it, & failing at the task  that you’re going to try.

It’s not your physical ability, it’s your mind & emotional ability.  You don’t say “I’ll TRY”,  just “DO IT”.

Still not totally in belief of this?  Okay, look at these reasons why it’s easier to succeed:

It’s easier to succeed, because the money spent to fail must be spent again to succeed.

It’s easier to succeed, because failure costs you a high price of time when you have to do a job/task over.

It’s easier to succeed, because success eliminates the agony & frustration of defeat.

It’s easier to succeed, because a person’s credibility decreases with each failure, making it harder to succeed the second time.

It’s easier to succeed, because joy & expressions of affirmation come from succeeding, whereas, feelings of discouragement & discontent accompany failure.

Can you see the pattern here in these analogies, it’s not about the money you invest to learn something in order to succeed or your physical abilities, it’s about the time & emotions it’s costs you by not making your mind up in the first place, that you CAN succeed.

One last thought to consider;  I know you’ve seen heroic stories on TV or in the paper, about someone being trapped under a car unable to get out because the car was thousands of pounds, too heavy.

You know what happened, someone came along & lifted that car off of that person to save them, didn’t they.

For someone 115 pounds cannot just walk up to any car & lift it up can they, that’s something I think we can agree on.

But, when an emergency happens, someone is trapped under a car seconds from dying, what happens; that 115 pound individual has made up their mind while rushing over to that car, already knowing they can lift that car, without giving it a second thought.

How in the world can that be?

Simply put, while that 115 pound individual normally struggles to carry groceries in the house, they are acting on unconscious activity & just doing the act by trying.

When an emergency happens & someone is trapped, about to die, & you’re the only one there, that individual has already put their mind into can & will do it mode, without a second thought, & not into an I’ll try mode.

Amazingly, lifting that care was done without even hurting themselves or their back from lifting the weight of that car.

Your strength, abilities, success & failures, all come from you mind, not from your physical abilities.

Your mind is governed by what you have decided to do, what you have fed it, what you have programmed it to do at any given moment.

Now you can see why it’s easier to succeed that to fail.

“Today I am successful.  Tomorrow I will be successful.  Every day I am successful”…….

See you tomorrow……..
