“Why Should I Do Anything Nice For Them!” | How to do something kind for someone today

“WHY SHOULD I DO ANYTHING NICE FOR THEM!”

Today, I want to make some suggestions of kindness to others.

I know, you may be down, you feel lousy, nothing is going right, but I want you to think about kindness right now.

That is exactly right!  Why?

Well, you have maybe felt stepped on now for quite a while, but you know from reading my blogs that drowning in negative is NOT what I ever encourage you to do – ever.

I’ve always encouraged you to believe again, haven’t I.

So, today, I have some Random Acts of Kindness” for you to do.

How to do something kind for someone today

Pick up the trash lying around the yards on either side & across from your house/apartment.

Bring you neighbors trash bins or garbage cans back up their driveway for them.

Leave an ‘encouraging’ note for a coworker.

Compliment someone, even your boss if you have one.

Bring in a plant or flowers to be enjoyed in the office or at home.

Do a chore that your spouse / partner / roommate hates to do.

Buy something for the person in line behind you.

Bring used books or magazines to a nursing home or local hospital library.

Bring in an old blanket & towels to a pet shelter.

Leave a bigger tip when you go out to eat, or wherever you provide a tip.

Visit a widowed neighbor or friend & take them grocery shopping.

Look at other ways you can actually do something you don’t ordinarily do, but, be sure it IS an act of kindness

After you do a particular act of kindness for someone I want you to take a good look at yourself & think honestly about how you feel inside since you did that kind act.

If you are honest with yourself, you have to admit you feel pretty good about doing even just that one thing.

Congratulations, you have done something kind & that feels good doesn’t it.

Yes Kathy that’s true. More importantly, it’s the little little things that mean so much to others. Everyone needs to try these things because I promise you, it will change your heart. Thank you Kathy.

And love that you take a topic and give people examples of how they can do or be within the topic subject. Terrific stuff Linda – thanks for all the value you provide! Now I have to go – I was wondering what to do with all those old towels and blankets I have! LOL
