“I DON’T NEED ANYONE TO HELP ME!”
I was one of those people throughout my life, I was in a career of service to other people, helping, caring, saving, fixing.
I was there for everyone else because that’s what nurses do.
It’s never been about me, it’s always been about others. That was the life I chose & carried out throughout my career in the medical field.
So, my own motto was clearly: “I don’t’ need anyone to help me”, because I was there to help others.
But, something shifted inside of me about “people”, over this past long weekend. Please allow me to share something for a moment with you.
I have just been to the most amazing experience of my life.
It’s called an ‘Event’.
In layman’s terms, an event is where a lot of training & learning of the latest information takes place.
However, in MY words, it was magical.
Not only did I learn a lot, I met & worked with the most incredible people on this earth.
No no, wait, I know that a lot of people say that similar phrase, but this was so different. Please keep reading…
Being around & talking with these people, was more than just being in a crowd of mass training, so much more.
Life has a way of displaying soo much drama around us day after day after day.
But for once in my life, this did NOT happen at this event, at all. These were genuine, warm, real, sincere people, that were unlike any people I’ve ever been around.
Here is only a sample of what I thought about while with these amazing people I was with, & I want to share these thoughts with you.

HOW TO SURROUND YOURSELF WITH THE BEST PEOPLE
Here are my thoughts of what we should ALL have around us.
WE NEED PEOPLE:
Who will be as honest in small things, as in large things.
Whose ambitions are not confined to their own selfish desires.
Whose word is their bond.
Who cannot be bought.
Who are larger & more genuine than their titles & levels.
Who put character above wealth.
Who possess opinions & a will.
Who do not hesitate to take chances.
Who will not lose their individuality in a crowd.
Who are not ashamed or afraid to stand for the truth when it is unpopular.
Who will not say they do it “because everybody else does it.”
Who will make no compromise with wrong.
Who are true too their friends through good results or bad results, in adversity as well as prosperity.
Who can say “no” with emphasis, although all the rest of the world says “yes”.
Who do not believe that scolding, trickery & hardheadedness are the best qualities for winning success.
Who will literally, give you the shirt off their back & the sincere attention you need.

There are truly not enough words to identify the qualities these wonderful people & leaders have.
The world needs more people like these.
Take the time to develop these traits, qualities in yourself, you will never regret it.
I am forever grateful to everyone I spent so much time with brainstorming, bonding with, learning from & receiving guidance from.
You all know who you are & I thank you!
However, I do want to give a Special thank you to someone who has literally saved my life, believed in me & changed my life forever.
To Erica Udeanu & Alex, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You both carry these special qualities everyday, so eloquently, like a a breath of fresh air. You are so very special.

There’s nothing better than to have that huge aha moment from a live event. And it appears you’ve taken several of these aha moments away, from this past event. That’s awesome.
Some people go to an event just to try and figure things out while other go with the intention of creating a breakthrough. And it sounds like you’ve had an incredible breakthrough by being able to connect with Alex and Erica.
What an incredible testament to the power of surrounding yourself with the best people!

Thank you Ken for the kind heartfelt comment. You know, I went to this Rise event without any expectations. I wasn’t sure what to expect & I didn’t intend for anything to happen. I just went open minded, period. But, that’s the same way I went into this whole training with Erica & Alex, open minded & with no expectations. I just listened. I’ve had breakthroughs since I joined Erica & Alex, & so far they’ve each lead to an opportunity. Being with them at the event, was an incredible ongoing brainstorm & training session of incredible information, not only from the speakers, but from Erica & Alex themselves too. They have a unique way of taking information & un-complicating it so it’s easy to digest & understand. I just feel very blessed. I strongly feel this world needs more people, like them! Thanks Ken.

Linda seeing you on video today told me you had experienced some breakthroughs. You are just radiant and glowing. Being around like minded people who support you as Nancy said is such a good thing. I do not think any of us were meant to go it alone and this is an amazing community. I cannot wait to read your book. 🙂
Thank you Sue, you are truly a sweet woman. I loved every minute of the event & took so much away from the incredible bonding that occurred. The new changes & information is about to explode & I’m soo grateful to be in all of this with everyone. My book is coming & writing right now.
I am so happy for you that were able to get to the event and have the wonderful experiences that you had Linda. Events really are something to behold and you just don’t know how good it is until you’ve been to one.

Clearly Linda there are people in your life that have had the most amazing impact on you. We all hope that in our lives, we will have that amazing experience, when we come in contact with someone/some people that we can truly say, we have been blessed for the opportunity to have meet them and have them in our lives. For many people this never happens. I too could see by your incredible spark that the event was truly inspiring for you… thanks so much for spreading it around.
Thank you Rhonda. I have been incredibly blessed by all of you & yes, by being at the event, it was very special. Erica & Alex have given me some insights, training & words of wisdom that have clearly changed my life, since my accident, & I am forever grateful to them. To meet them in person was like meeting an old trusted family friend, priceless! The spark that I have had since, is from being alive, inspired & a part of something extraordinarily special. The best part is we are all in this together & our family bond will just keep growing. Thank you Rhonda for your very kind & sweet words.
I must say Linda that I was super excited to learn that I was finally going to get to meet you in person too! Your story is one that will forever touch my heart … because as I’ve said before … you re-enforced just how important it is to always be sharing your message.
I had quit doing videos for quite some time because I was “bitter” about our YouTube account being shut down. I turned my focus to other ways of communicating … but totally dropped videos.
That was until Dec 31, 2014. That was when I started cutting my videos in the snow.
Knowing now, that you would search for my videos every morning whilst in recovery from your accident, and knowing now what an impact they made on you …
… YOU are the reason I will forever keep cutting videos.
So thank YOU for showing up in my life and teaching ME a very valuable lesson.

Thank you Erica for your incredibly kind & sweet words. It’s funny, it was my brother that took a bold chance & said to me “you’re up, what got you going”… I replied: “Erica” & he looked at me like, what ever it was, it worked. And that it did, it pulled me up & I started taking steps because I felt a reason to move forward. What was it exactly that was said? I don’t know, it was the words that affected my lost thoughts that clicked.
I’m so glad you’re continuing your videos, that touch so many hearts everywhere. When someone has honest value to share & not one-sided opinions, they make an imprint on your soul. You continue to do that with the words & thoughts you share. Thank you for your kind words & for your strength.
