HELLO everyone, I’m glad to see you here today.  My name is Linda Frame.  I’m here today with:  The shocking Effects, in your Daily Life….

I’m here to talk about the challenges, the hurdles, those ‘nothing goes right’ days and the set backs that jump in your way unexpectedly.  You may even feel like that ‘black cloud’ hanging over your head seems to have your name on it.  If a particular topic of the day here doesn’t suit you or doesn’t speak to you, that’s fine, maybe tomorrows topic will seem more interesting to your issues in your life.

Today, I have still read a lot about the SUPER BOWL and how so many of the fans have reacted about the “ONE YARD PLAY CALL”  that was executed, and I’m sure you have read or heard the same arguments.  All of the pictures, videos, media print and network broadcasts work and energy of some many people have put into this “NEWS ITEM,” has been overwhelming to say the least, wouldn’t you say?!  It really seems to be quite a serious reaction that has resulted from all of this upset.

So that brings a question to mind. Why?

Well, since I’m a career Registered Nurse, let’s see if we can look at all this media noise and figure out what is wrong.  Just be prepared and let this serve as a warning, I can’t quite let go of old assessment ways that have conditioned into my brain.  That means, the answer may be explained a little differently, so let’s examine the problem here…..

SYMPTOMS

Anxiety:  The fans seem upset everywhere.

Stomach Ache:   Stomach queezy, unable to settle stomach

Headaches:    Throbbing head, eyes hurt

Sore Throat:    Scratchy throat, feel ‘swollen’. difficulty swallowing

Ear Aches:    Both ears tender

Abdominal Cramping:    Only one diarrhea episode last night

Foot Pain:    Ball and toes of right foot painful and swollen

OBSERVED / EXAM

Psychological:  Appears anxious with a frazzled affect, verbalizes rapidly, unable to comprehend reality.  Verbally mumbling “wrong play call”.

Gastrointestinal:   Firm but palpable bloating with belching noted frequently, denies any vomiting but does describe feeling “sick to my stomach”.

Head:  Upon exam, rubbing temple areas frequently.  Eyes appear ‘glazed’ with both eyelids widely open, stares frequently.

Skin:   Quite warm and clammy to touch, appears very red in the face area.

Mouth:  Excessive amount of saliva noted in & around mouth area, throat “red and swollen”, voice “horse”. teeth clenched upon arrival.

Muscular-Skeletal:   Both arms and legs all stiff and hands clenched with knuckle area appearing white, notable: right foot: sole appears red, swollen and tender with great toe bent and irregular angle.

ASSESSMENT / DIAGNOSIS

Psychosomatic reaction most likely due to NFL game called: SUPER BOWL.

Gastritis and bloating affected most likely by over consumption of snacks, food, alcohol.  Notable copious amounts of air while gasping during the last 20 seconds of the game.  X-ray, Flat Plate: Finding of notable amounts of ‘stool’ and copious air pockets > in LLQ.

Head pain most likely symptomatic rather than a disorder, likely resulted from vasodilation of blood vessels in the tissues surrounding the brains, or most probable resulting from tension in the neck and scalp muscles.

Benign vasodilation accompanied with outbreak of eruptions throughout the facial area and erythrocyte hue with onset of full body symptoms remain in minor state, the resulting redness and rash will most likely diminish within the next 48 hours.

Acute Pharyngitis benign most likely due to yelling for the past 36 – 48 hours.

Foot X-ray: Findings Right foot: Normal foot structure, great toe and metatarsal non-displaced fractures.

PLAN

Quiet seclusion with; oral communication restriction, complete media restrictions, social, including all social media interaction restrictions and strict voice rest x 7 days.  All physical and emotional activities restriction, must be cleared by provider prior to return of ALL activities.  May return to work ONLY.

  1. Hello Linda… great article. Not being a medical professional did not stop me from enjoying this post! I always knew that some human beings who have serious sports addictions exhibit unusual physiological and psychological episodes especially during Big Games! Now I better understand the terminology. Thanks.

Thank you John, you are spot on my friend. The word ‘addictions’ to sports is very true that affect the psychological & physiological episodes they have. John I love your analogies, thank you for stopping by.
