I was able to spend time yesterday around a lot of different people, most of which I didn’t know.
When you see a large mix of people, it’s fun to hear multiple & various conversations from others & on things that happened in someone’s world, & the adventures they had been in for the past few weeks. They had some interesting stories about people they hadn’t even known before.
Hearing about others recent activities, & being around so many different people freely sharing things, got me to think about people in general.
More specifically, it made me think about the various types of people we all come in contact with & how different we all really are.
When I use to avidly watch the news, I use to wander off in my thoughts about where the world has gone off to, regarding the way some people are & treat one another. Not everyone, but those who seem to wind up on the news.

So last night & this morning, I thought about the unique varieties people we have in this world.
My conclusions? Yeah, I do have a few.
Since this is my blog, I’ll go ahead first & share some of my conclusions of what I believe this world needs.
WE NEED PEOPLE WHO…
Who aren’t ashamed or afraid to stand for the truth, when it’s unpopular.
Who can say NO with emphasis, although all the rest of the world says, yes.
Who are true to their friends through good & evil , in adversity as well as prosperity.
Who don’t believe that hardheadedness & craftiness are the best qualities for winning success.
Who will not say they do it; ‘because everyone else does it’.
Whose ambitions aren’t confined to their own selfish desires.
Who will make no compromise with wrong.
Who will be as honest in small things, as in great things.
Who will not lose their individuality in a crowd.
Who do not hesitate to take chances.
Who are larger as a person, than their job title.
Who possess opinions & a will.
Who put character above wealth.
Whose word is their bond.
Who cannot be bought.
There are wonderful people in this word & I’m blessed to know so many of them. But these thoughts today, comes from only from what I experienced yesterday.
Did it give me a negative view of the world?
Certainly not. Those whom I associate with everyday who ARE from all over the world, are some of the very best individuals you can find. These very people are the ones who have the very characteristics I have listed in the list above.
This example & topic today comes from my own conclusion of who very lucky & truly blessed I am to have these very types of people in my life.
*To all of you who are in my life; family, friends, business friends & associates, whom I work with & interact with everyday from all over the world, these characteristics identify you & I thank you for being in my life. You’re all amazing & I am a better person for having known you.

I was actually explaining yesterday to a friend why some people are thought of as naive’ … it’s because they wouldn’t dream of behaving so poorly so it’s NOT in their frame of reference to be looking for awful qualities in another person, so when it does occur they’re usually shocked or blind-sided for a moment (and then they learn to align themselves with peeps who care!) good post, Linda XO, Zen
