When is the Last Time YOU Acted Like a Kid?

When it’s family time, the things you may have planned never seem to work out the you thought.

Sometimes, saying: “what do you want to do today”, can be hard to pull off at the last second when you’re not prepared., or have the money to do it.

Even worse, when you’re going through rough and challenging times right now,  it’s extremely hard to even consider right now.  But maybe not.

Whether your down, on a depressed budget, or your situation is much different, you have to pull your children towards you, because they don’t understand what’s wrong.

Seeing you torn up, watching you grieve, watching you scrape by, puts an enormous amount of stress on them.  Oh yes, they DO know.

Kids watch everything, they’re affected by everything you do and what you feel.  When you’re going through issues, it makes them feel like it’s THEIR FAULT if they see you struggling, unhappy/sad, negative or broke.

They want to help, they want to spend time with you regardless of how happy or sad you are.

You have to give them the time they need and get started sometime before they never do want to be around you.

So, here are a bunch of ideas that mostly are low cost and your kids or grandkids will love to be included in: but,  do these together, WITH them, yes with them !!

There are literally hundreds of things to do with your kids or grand kids.  But doing these things with you makes it a hundred times better & memorable.

Everything you do with your child or grand child is an awesome teachable moment, that will be cherished forever.

Don’t let these opportunities pass by.

These activities may sound corny to you, but to a child, they’re priceless!

“Beautiful things happen, when you view life through the eyes of children”………….

See you tomorrow.

  1. WOW!!! I honestly had no idea there were so many fun things you could do for very little cost. I used to love it when we were kids and we would go fly our kites. I could do that for hours and hours and hours!!!

It’s a ‘sky’s the limit’, when you think like a child. Flying kites is the best, you learn so much about the wind, the weather, kite materials, colors & string pressure. To look up & realize you made that happen, wow. I loved it! Thanks Erica for sharing.

You are so right Travis, there’s a lot to do that we don’t think about, unless, we think as a child would. Thank you Travis, it’s so good to hear from you.
