I Can’t Make It Alone …

Everyone is distracted, busy, tired, preoccupied & in a hurray. You have deadlines, appointments, work, family & so it continues. Oh wait, you have, groceries, cleaning …
Okay so everyone is busy, but are you really too busy to be kind?

Oh course not. Believe it or not your are never too distracted to be considerate to others. You are not the only one going through all these things. Others all around you are going through what you are, but there are many others who are going through what you are & more.

There are people who are not taking their medications because they can’t afford them. There are those who do not eat, so their children can. There are those who can’t find a job because they either don’t qualify or don’t have a car to get to work.

The point is this, your busy, distracted, your survival life is not unique. Everyone is equally overwhelmed.
So why you too busy, distracted to even smile & acknowledge those around you.
Do you realize that person who’s approaching you may have just received a life changing diagnosis. That person sitting by themselves staring off to nowhere may be wondering how they can afford to find something to make supper for their family tonight.

We all need to give & receive kindness from one another. You only have to give someone a smile to help them feel they are not alone.
It’s always better to be the one who smiled, than the one who didn’t smile back …
