What Does Character Have To Do With IT …

There’s a population of people that still do not understand how intelligent animals are. They abuse them, dump them when they’re tired of having to care for them & get disrespected when people come by to visit their owners in their own home.

Dogs specifically are so loyal, they will willingly die to protect you. They give you unconditional love, even to those who do not deserve it. They are very generous with their affection too, even when you don’t ask for it. They check you out from head to toe when you arrive, to be sure your okay to be around their owner.

This time of year especially, people are making the wrong decisions about a cute little puppy under the tree. It’s not as simple as it seems in the movies. A dog requires a life long commitment & that responsibility should never be taken lightly. Their life & happiness depends solely on you & all they want is a chance. They don’t pick their owners, but will always accept who they get.

A dog has something that so many humans do not have .. Character. They are strong, they’ll love you despite who your are & what you do, they’re loyal & obedient if trained properly.
They will not turn on you unless they are defending themselves & they forgive you instantly for your lousy attitude.
How many humans do you know lack these qualities.

Character & dogs have many similarities, they want to be loved, they want to care for you. They’ll even put up with you even though they sometimes don’t understand you. Their patience is endless & are overjoyed to see you all the time.

So if you want to learn what real character is, be committed to a dog & let them teach you. You’ll learn what it’s like to do things for someone & expect nothing in return …
