All I Do is Make Mistakes …

People really need to stop being so quick to give up after making a mistake. When a mistake is made, it’s an indicator of that particular way was off. That’s a learning key, so heed the challenge & try another way. If that too doesn’t work, take a deep breath & try again.

You see, Engineers, Architects, Lawyers, Physicians, CEO’s, Postal Carriers & everyone makes mistakes. We ALL get to where we are because we are consistent in one thing: we learned from our mistakes & kept trying.

Thomas Edison tried 10,000 times before he finally got the light bulb to work! He consistently kept trying over & over until he got it to work.
In the process, he learned a lot & kept building off his mistakes until it worked.

Henry Ford had the same consistency of trying over & over, by tweaking, tinkering, building, trying different things until he came up with the car! That first one looked weird, but it worked & the rest is history.

It doesn’t matter who or what you do, keep trying & learn from it. If you can’t unlock your door with your key, is the first thing you do is to just walk away? No, you check your key, try again & by trial & error you get it to work. That’s learning & trying it over until you’ve run through the steps & find that something may have changed. Then what, so you walk away? No, you get help to resolve it!

Mistakes are proof you’re at least trying, you’re ruling out the incorrect ways until you find the correct formula! Don’t let yourself get angry, frustrated or start putting yourself down. Take the challenge of making mistakes & work through them. You should feel proud of the fact you’re learning from them because at least you’re trying …
