I’m Never Going to Get Anywhere …

Sometimes looking ahead can be daunting. Then you can see how much further you have to go or looking back, you start thinking you were further than where you really are. Then disappointment starts setting in among others things.

When you instead focus on the present, where you are is all that matters anyway. You can only control the present, not the past or future so why look in those directions.

Now is where you are, a minute hour or last week is gone & unable to be altered. Tonight, Tomorrow or next week or next month is not promised. Although, you can always be optimistic about it.

When you do look ahead, look at how you can do better than you are now. Think about showing more gratitude, having more patience & sharing your smile with others. When you look ahead, be optimistic that you’ll be a better person than you were today …
