Do You Believe In Yourself?

by Linda Frame, RN-Medical Content Writer Freelance on March 29, 2015

HELLO everyone, thank you for visiting my blog today.  My name is Linda Frame and I am here everyday with:    DAILY ADVERSITY SUPPORT

Authors Note: For my background information, please visit my Profiles on Facebook and Linkedin.

I’m here to talk about the challenges, the hurdles, those ‘nothing goes right days and the set backs that jump in your way unexpectedly.  You may even feel like that ‘black cloud’ hanging over your head seems to have your name on it.

If a particular topic of the day here doesn’t suit you or doesn’t speak to you, that’s fine, maybe tomorrows topic will seem more interesting to your issues in your life.  Why, because I have been through a lifetime of rock bottom challenges, and I want to share how you can crawl back up successfully.  I promise, you can do this just like I did.

Regardless of your personal situation right now, believe in yourself, believe you can get up, believe you can do whatever it takes to get through this, and believe that you ARE a good caring person.

You need to repeat that sentence everyday until you know it by heart:  “I believe in myself, I believe I can get up, I believe I can do whatever it take to get through this, I believe that I AM a good, caring person”…..

Everyday, over & over until you truly believe it,  those words need to be imbedded in your mind, then memorize it.

If you don’t believe in yourself, if you don’t love yourself, if you don’t respect yourself, then don’t expect anyone else to believe in you, to love you, or to respect you.

The very first step to crawling back up after such a devastating episode, is to believe FIRST in yourself.

You have to own that belief, you have to own that trust, love and respect in yourself, from you first.  Then you have to wear it, show your belief in yourself, (“I know this was rough but I WILL get through this”).

You have to understand, you are the only one that can do this, just you.  No one can come in to fix it and rescue you, that is YOUR job and yes, You Can Do This, if you believe in yourself.  The first step is always the hardest step, but you can get through all of them if you continue to BELIEVE.

If you are still thinking no one believes in you, just know that, I do.

“Believe you can, and you’re halfway there” – Theodore Roosevelt

Thanks Helen, you are so right. Believing in yourself is very powerful. So just do it, you’ll be amazed where your self belief “posture” will take you. Appreciate your note Helen.

Thanks Linda:) Belief is a huge part of what we need to take the first step in moving forward. I know what fear is like – it freezes you to the point where your creativity becomes stifled. Self belief is a beautiful word because unlocks everything around you if only we believe in ourselves. Thank you for sharing your gems!

Thanks Naomi, I agree totally. Fear will kill your dreams & success unless you overcome it quickly. So believe in yourself & just do it. Thank you for visiting my blog!!

Great advice Linda.Believing in yourself is absolutely to get back up and going it critical. I know when I was much younger I bounced back more quickly from set backs and challenges. I got to a point later on where I was not so quick to do it and would doubt myself. The only way up is belief. Thanks for a great message Linda.
