Do It Now. Sometimes Later, Becomes Never …

It is astonishing how many people put off something until later, tommorow, next week, month or year(s). Why not? Because we are not guaranteed the next minute from now …

If you have read my book, you will know that my accident changed my enitre life in a split second and my life as I knew it, was gone forever. (If you haven’t read my book, you can click here and order now.

We are in a fast paced everything today along with instant results, and we forget that we are NOT in control of our lives – really. So putting off an answer: an I love you, a word of support, a thank you, an I am here for you, an I apprecitate you … whatever would have come from your heart ot a gesture. If you do not do it now, you may never get another chance to say or do what you ‘wanted to.

In my emergency Room career, I cannot tell you how many patients and families in the Trauma Rooms were just gutted because of this. Patients begged me to tell ___ that they loved them … Family members uncontrollably devastated because they didn’t tell them they loved them, they didn’t get to make up with them and tell them they were sorry … The children who did not understand why they weren’t coming back … the stories go on and on and on ….

You honestly may not get the chance to do something you were planning on doing because, life also gets in the way and that opportunity is gone.

Stop acting like you are guaranteed tomorrow and start living today. It should never take a tragedy to wake you up, it should start now.

… enjoy today, this is the first day of the rest of your life, make it count, make full, make it the best day of your life

Do it now. Sometimes later, becomes never … – -linda frame
